With Bettertree®, you bring fresh branches and real fir scent into your home every Christmas. The wooden frame is reused year after year and styled afresh for the festive season. Add the branches one by one and make the tree your own: fuller or airier, traditionally decorated or completely different from the year before.
After Christmas, remove the branches and store your Bettertree® until next year. Only individual branches are harvested for the fresh greenery, so the trees remain standing and can continue to grow. The following Christmas, you simply create it again, just the way you like it.

Bettertree® combines fresh branches and real fir scent with a wooden frame you can reuse year after year. You shape the tree yourself and decide how it should look each Christmas. After the holidays, remove the branches and store the wooden sections until next year. Depending on the model, we use ash, beech or oak, and each tree is crafted in a small workshop in Germany.
Our fir branches come from fir trees grown in Germany and cared for according to our specifications. Only individual branches are cut, so the trees remain standing and can continue to grow. Choose between Nordmann and Nobilis fir branches. Both are freshly cut and shipped with DHL GoGreen Plus. You can also order your fir branches as a subscription.
With the right care, the fir branches stay fresh for around three to four weeks. Nobilis branches may stay fresh a little longer. Lightly misting the branches with water can help.
First, set up your Bettertree®. Then add the fresh branches one by one. Depending on the model and the fullness you want, allow around 75 minutes for setup and styling. You can make it part of the Christmas tradition: build the tree together, add the branches, then decorate it together.
Yes. Decorate Bettertree® with baubles, fairy lights and your usual Christmas decorations. Each year, you can choose a different look: simple, colourful, traditional or completely your own.
You’ll receive the Bettertree® wooden sections in the size and configuration you selected. Depending on the product, a tree stand may also be included. Fir branches are sold separately with individual trees and included in the sets. You’ll find the exact contents on each product page.
For styling, you’ll need pruning shears, a knife and a blanket or protective sheet for the floor. You can order the pruning shears and knife from us. Lay the sheet where you’re building your Bettertree® to keep needles and small branch cuttings in one place.
